From chart to stitch
Stitches is a cross stitch editor built for iPad, iPhone, Android, macOS, Windows and the web; built out of my own necessity for a tool that makes designing and charting patterns easier. I designed this app to make it easier to change details later by introducing layers and blending, and I added snippets and a sprite importer when working with video game elements or other 8-bit graphics. I added stitch tracking when I started stitching my design and realised its value. You can import PDFs to track patterns you already own; Pattern Keeper charts work best but I made a manual import feature which will do a best effort read of non-pattern keeper charts or scans with some assistance from you. I've been testing stitch tracking with a real pattern I designed!
